Do I need a permit to put up a FENCE?
YES - a zoning permit is required before you install a FENCE. Codified Ord:1125.04
Do I need a permit to put up a POOL?
YES - a zoning permit is required before you install a POOL. This included temporary pools, you must obtain a yearly permit for these pools. Codified Ord:1125.03
We are having a SHED built in our backyard, is a permit required?
YES - You must apply for a permit to build any accessory buildings (SHEDS/GARAGES) or structures (decks) on your property. Codified Ord: 1125.06
I want to place my political campaign signs around town for the upcoming election, do I need a permit and what are the village rules and regulations regarding this ?
NO - a permit is not required for the placement of any temporary signs (political, garage sale, contractor). Certain rules and regulations do apply - signs may not be placed in the boulevard (public right of way) area, on public property, on utility poles, or on private property without the property owner's permission. Political sign dimensions may not exceed 36"x36". Codified Ord: 541.09/1129.02
