Woodville, Ohio
Woodville (population 1977) is located on the scenic Portage River in Sandusky County, Ohio, approximately 18 miles southeast of Toledo and 15 miles west of Fremont on U.S. Route 20 and State Route 105. The town is situated 20 minutes from the shores of Lake Erie and its recreation facilities for boating, swimming, and fishing.
Woodville is due south of the Ohio Turnpike. Woodville has easy access to Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, and Columbus. The community is serviced by the Con Rail Railroad which links Toledo to Pittsburgh through Woodville.

The Village is in the design stages of the Combined Sewer System Long Term Control Plan required by the Ohio EPA. This plan is designed to eleminate the Combined Sewer Overflows (CSO's) that discharge into the Portage River during certain rain events. The Village has decided to complete a storm and sanitary sewer separation which will include the installation of a new sanitary sewer collection system, then utilize the existing combination sewers as a storm water system that will eliminate all COS's. To learn more about the project, funding options and income survey you may contact Mayor Richard Harman, any Councilmembers or Bob Rickard at 419-849-3031

Two young men with village ID's will be doing basement surveys requesting to enter the homes.  This is being done as part of the combined sewer separation.
